The purpose of ATLP is to strengthen and support leadership programs in Texas by ...

  • Serving as a clearinghouse of information for all Texas Leadership Programs.
  • Providing educational services and programs in leadership skills and training.
  • Conducting state, regional and local conferences, clinics and forums in support of leadership program development.
  • Connecting leadership groups into a statewide network.

Membership

Membership in the Association of Texas Leadership Programs shall consist of organization members, individual members, associate members, life members and honorary members. Organization members are those organizations that sponsor leadership training, volunteer training, or continuing education programs in a community. Individual members are graduates of any community or volunteer leadership program. Associate members are non-voting members who are interested in supporting the purposes and goals of ATLP. A life member is a graduate of a community or volunteer leadership program and may join for a one-time fee. The Board of Directors will select honorary members in recognition of outstanding contributions to community leadership development.

Dues

Annual dues cover membership from May 1 to April 30:

  • Membership dues for a community leadership alumni organization are $100 annually.
  • Dues for individuals who are members of paid alumni organizations are $10 annually.
  • Individuals whose alumni organization does not belong to ATLP may join for $25 annually.
  • Dues for an associate member are $200 annually.
  • Life time members may join for $250 (one time fee).
